Fil tends to be the 'dad' of the band, which is quite annoying, although he is the oldest member of the band

What's the band's history so far?

After numerous line-up changes including two new singers, three bass players and a keyboard player, Y'r Impossible now have a permanent line-up.

We began exhibiting our music in late August 2005 and began a mini-tour of the North-West, hitting Blackpool, Lancaster, Manchester and Liverpool in the first six months and we've just gone through to the next round of the Lancashire Evening Post Battle of the Bands.

Style and influences?

New wave/Post Punk Indie. Influences include Wire, XTC, Blondie, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand.

Best moment so far?

Playing a support gig at the University of Central Lancashire's 53 degrees club.

Worst/most embarrassing moment so far?

Bad gig review on gigwise.com, hence changing our singer...
