Less pressure, better climate

I came to Greece 15 years ago when I was 45. I have lived in a small town - nearly all Greek towns are small! - in North Greece. The cost of living is much lower than in England on the main items - i.e. rent and eating out. I have a 120 sq metre 8 roomed house for which I pay 200 euros (£125 pcm). Three of us had a great meal out at an excellent restaurant for 10 euros for each of us including wine last week.I teach English privately and earn a decent living. I'm much better off than I would be in the UK - less pressure, better climate, magnificent scenery, great beaches, good social life.

True, Greece is the perfect place to retire. The food is so delicious and fresh and the locals are so friendly.
