I love them! They're a fantastic band, the album is great, and they are fantastic live and also credit to them because their tickets are still amongst the cheapest, they're about a fiver less than Franz!! You can't fail to bounce around to that album and have a good time, I love it and I can't wait for the second album!

The Kaiser Chiefs are a breath of fresh air (at last)they have some great, fun, quirky lyrics and i love their dress sense they are individuals not more of that manufactured white trash. the kaiser chiefs are fab. they are the best band ive ever seen live. ricky is definitely sexy and so is nick. i love the whole leeds scene at the minute, and the cribs (technically from wakefield, but still north) are also great. make sure you listen out for them!

In that case 'Sebastian' you've just panned every band/singer who has ever gone in a different musical direction. It's quite an acceptable thing to do you know. Think about David Bowie, Madonna, Eels etc, all of whome have dramatically changed their musical edge and image over the years. Kaiser Chiefs may well have undergone a major facelift, but you have to remember that aside from their garage rock liking they would obviously have enough range to enjoy other forms of music, aka Britpop, thus it's feasible, and totally acceptable for them to have changed so much.
P.S. Kaiser Chiefs are superb :p

The Kaiser Chiefs are awful.
I despise the way that one minute they're a garage rock band called Parva; dressing in leather jackets and denim and singing about High school proms and the next minute they're a britpop band called the Kaiser Chiefs; dressing in blazers and trilbys and singing about English life.
They've shamelessly hi-jacked the britpop image of ten years ago, correctly predicting that the success of Franz Ferdinand last year would cause a britpop revival.
What happened to integrity in music?
Oh yeah, the singer is a talentless poser and some of the lyrics would make Robbie Williams blush.
