Jane from Leicester is in her mid-forties and was a mistress for almost three years.

She was in a relationship with a man who had been married with children for eight years.

She says she wouldn't advocate breaking up a marriage but she doesn't regret anything that she's done.

大象传媒 Leicester's Tony Wadsworth spoke to Jane (her voice has been disguised to protect her identity)...

Jane says that her partner wasn't happy in his marriage, whereas their relationship was exciting and 'cloak and dagger'.

She believes that his wife did suspect something, but her partner said he wouldn't leave his wife until his children were older.

Getting caught

But then, his wife discovered them together:

"She came home and caught us. Not doing anything in particular, but she caught us together.

"I think she gave him an ultimatum, and next thing I knew he was on my doorstep."

"I can't marry him yet"

Her partner is now in the process of getting a divorce, but Jane says that she's not ready to marry him yet:

"I do not want his children to have it... They're not my blood, they're nothing to do with me.

"I have a brother and I have nieces and nephews and I want to leave it to them. I do not want his children to have it. If it goes to his children it'll benefit his wife."

"I'm not ashamed"

So Jane would do exactly the same thing if she could do it again?

"Yes, but I'd find someone without children. I'm not ashamed of what I've done, not at all, life's too short. People got hurt but people always get hurt in life."
