We are always on the look-out for new material. Always. If the Big Screen were a hungry new-born chick, we would have to regurgitate half a tonne of masticated worms each day to keep it happy, which is where you come in. D’ya want salt and vinegar with that? Crumbled millipede croutons, perhaps?

The only material we do not show are commercial advertisements. Everything else is considered on merit and there are lots of lovely documents for you to download in .pdf format below to help answer any questions you might have.

Juggling Exhibition @ Big Screen

Basically, it works like this:

The Big Screen Manager oversees all programming decisions and submissions. Examples of the kind of material we receive and show onscreen includes content from schools, colleges and universities; amateur filmmakers, filmmaking collectives; artistic film and video; festivals wishing to tour content; interactive applications; photographic slideshows and even queries about site-specific events. If you have an idea then get in touch - you have nothing to fear but a rogue asteroid clutching a bus ticket with your postcode scribbled on the back.

There is no deadline for submissions of any kind. The screen operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
