Mother
Courage strives to keep her children alive by selling food and clothing
to soldiers. Switching allegiance when it suits her, she uses the
bloody battlefields as her marketplace and a wagon as her place
of business.
An
epic masterpiece of one woman's survival, Mother Courage and her
Children is told with both humour and song.
