Nine 15-17 year-old students from East and South London embarked on a trip to the United Arab Emirates and Oman in an effort to improve their understanding of Arab culture and send stories of their trip to students back home. The schools involved are Dagenham Park Community School, Forest Gate Community School, Plashet School and Crown Woods School. They are all part of the Offscreen Education programme. Offscreen is as arts organisation that was established by four British students in 2004 following a year long creative expedition to the Middle East. The short film tells the story of their journey and how their perceptions about life in the Middle East have changed after exploring and experiencing the culture.
