6 year old Jack Brown suffers from neuroblastoma, which attacks the nervous system. Jack Brown There鈥檚 no treatment available for his condition in this country. So his parents - who are both officers with the Metropolitan police - packed up the family and took Jack to America for treatment. But the treatment is expensive, and has cost over half a million pounds so far. Jack鈥檚 parents are also hoping to hire a UK based scientist to help work on a cure for the disease. So the officers from Romford headed to New York for a 36 mile run through Manhattan- in uniform, to try and raise cash. They were joined on the 2-day run by officers from Newham, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, and accompanied by the New York Police Department (NYPD) as they made their way through Central Park.
