There'll
be a strong showing of British wrestlers in Manchester this weekend
when they get to grips with the British Senior Open Championships.
While the summer鈥檚
wrestling competitions will be held in the G-MEX, the Sugden Sports
Centre will stage the Open Championships this Saturday, 1 June.
However Commonwealth Games organisers are using the event to test
several aspects of their operational capabilities.
Wrestling was
excluded from the Commonwealth Games four years ago in Malaysia
but returns this year at the Manchester Games. Among the medal hopefuls
on show will be Andy Hutchinson, Johannes Rossouw and John Melling,
seen above competing at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Canada. He
went on to win a Silver medal.

are priced at 拢7 or under with the finals tickets priced at 拢15.
