Neil Fitzsimons is new to Greater Manchester. He moved from his native Dublin just over a year ago and now lives with his girlfriend in Cheadle Hulme.
Arriving in a new city and wanting to meet people, Neil joined St Lawrence's Gaelic Football Club who practice at Turn Moss in Stretford.
"Mainly it's Irish or second or third generation Irish," says Ian. "The team coach at the moment is going around the schools in Greater Manchester trying to recruit people from all backgrounds.
"The idea is to get as many people as we can involved. We do struggle a bit for numbers sometimes."
Neil says that it can be great fun, but when it matters it can become quite competitive.
听"When it comes down to Championship time it can get kinda serious. The training can be quite tough, but having said that it can be a great way to keep fit and have a bit of fun at the same time."
