Starting Monday 27 November 2006, Radio Manchester will take a week-long look at the issue of Parallel Lives, asking the question: are Muslim and white communities in Manchester leading parallel lives? And if so, what are the implications?

Father Phil Sumner who went to work in Oldham to help rebuild the community there following the riots after working in Manchester's Moss Side for 25 years.

9am – 12pm: Allan Beswick
A phone-in discussion looking at what can be learned from Parallel Lives and asking for your views on the way forward.
