Australian rockers INXS are offering one lucky band the opportunity to play to thousands at their Apollo show in Manchester in a competition on their website.

The band, who celebrate 30 years in music this year, are looking for one local band to play a 30 minute opening set for them on Thursday 14 June.
To enter, all that bands need to do is visit the INXS website, enter their details and provide links to some online content, such as videos on YouTube or audio on MySpace.
All the submissions will be watched or listened to and INXS themselves will choose the winners, who鈥檒l be given the place in front of the fans at the Apollo.
The winners will be expected to get to the venue themselves and provide their own backline, but when you鈥檙e given the chance to play alongside one of the world鈥檚 biggest bands, you don鈥檛 mind making a bit of effort, do you?
