Game on for number one (Fri 28 Sept)

Hey guys,

Wow - what a week! Since my new single was released on Monday, I haven't stopped.

Shayne meets a very young fan

On Monday, I got to do what I love best - meeting my fans at signings in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds. I'm always amazed at how many people come to see me, and the constant support my fans show me is fantastic.

I hope you all had a great time. As a Manchester lad, seeing my fans in my hometown is extra special, and as I don't get up north as much as I'd like, times like the signings are so precious.

The rest of this week so far I have been doing lot more promotion, appearing on TV, radio and online. I had a great time doing a webchat with my fans on Wednesday - some of them asked some crazy questions! This Saturday, I am jetting off to Belfast for a signing, another great chance to meet my fans.

Now it is a matter of waiting for the official charts on Sunday. Mid-week sales are neck and neck between me and the Sugababes, so I can't stop working yet!

I'm really relying on my fans, and home town to help me secure the number 1 spot on Sunday. I have heard that some places are selling out completely of all my singles which is crazy, though thankfully, the Internet never sells out so downloads might be the key to me winning.

Thanks again for all of your support, knowing my hometown is behind me means the world.
