This
year we're promised twenty three films with a heady mix of "groundbreaking
drama, riotous comedy, touching love stories and glorious camp classics."
Highlights
of this year鈥檚 festival will include a selection of new Lesbian
and Gay films from all over the world along with two showcases of
short films, one for the boys and one for the girls.
Camp
dazzling classics like Victor/Victoria and Cabaret will be back
on the big screen, alongside a lesbian literary coupling of The
Hours and Mrs Dalloway.
The
festival programme will include stunning new features like Blue
Gate Crossing, Mango Souffl茅, Suddenly, and Food of Love. It promises
to have something for everyone - fun films, serious films, films
to lift your heart, to entertain and to educate.
The
two-week festival begins on Friday 15th August and promises a spectacular
gala opening, with lots of fun and glamour to co-incide with the
Europride Festival.
