In Bangladesh, the legal age for young women to marry is 18; for young men, it is 21.
But child marriage persists in the country; Unicef estimates Bangladesh has one of the anywhere in the world.
We've been part of the Hello, I Am, project, led by with funding from the Ikea Foundation, which is aiming to tackle this troubling issue by reaching out to marriage registrars, community leaders, parents and teens, showing the impact of marrying too young - and all the brilliant opportunities available when children stay in school.
We worked with community volunteers and discussion groups, showing powerful videos that captured hearts and minds.
In these films we hear from mothers and daughters who talk about the impact of the project on changing their attitudes to child marriage and girls' education. Now they are all helping to break down gender norms in their community.
