Recent events leave HMS Vigil exposed and the crew racing to save it.

Kirsten (Rose Leslie) uncovers evidence of a feud among Vigil’s crewmates, leading Amy (Suranne Jones) to question whether her investigation has been deliberately obstructed. A hard-won breakthrough leads Amy to believe she finally has the killer in her sights, only for surprising new evidence to emerge. Meanwhile, on land, things take a tragic turn.
