the west coast of Scotland. Access is only by boat trips which leave from the
south pier of Oban, on the Scottish mainland - .
Oban is situated about 90 miles north-west of Glasgow,
which is accessible from the south by taking the M6 and then the M74.
Oban
can be reached easily from Central Scotland by taking the A82 around the west
side of Loch Lomond, going via the A83 through Inveraray and following the signposts.
听 Fingal's Cave on Staffa can be reached by boat. 听 Car
