Presenter Christine Bleakley will not return to The One Show when the programme comes back from its break next week, the 大象传媒 has said.
In June, it was announced the star was defecting to ITV to front the new-look GMTV programme.
A 大象传媒 statement said: "We have agreed she will not be returning."
Stand-in presenters will host the programme until August when Jason Manford starts along with a new female co-host.
The 大象传媒 said: "Following the 大象传媒's decision to withdraw its offer of an extended contract to Christine Bleakley, we have agreed she will not be returning to The One Show.
"The 大象传媒 would like to take this opportunity to thank Christine for her contribution to the show and to wish her well."
The 大象传媒 said it had been screen-testing female presenters to find Bleakley's replacement. An announcement is expected over the next few weeks.
In May, comedian Manford was announced as Adrian Chiles' replacement.
Chiles, who had fronted the show since its inception in 2006, left the 大象传媒 days after it was decided Chris Evans would present the show on Fridays.
Bleakley left the 大象传媒 after the corporation eventually withdrew its offer for her to remain on The One Show following a public statement made by the star in which she said she was torn over where her future lay.
