Teenage girl injured in hit and run
A-15-year old girl was left needing hospital treatment after being hit by a car that failed to stop in North Yorkshire.
It happened at around 0830 on Friday 12 April when the teenager was crossing Langton Road in Norton, between the church and Norton Primary School.
The girl was struck by a small black Ford which is believed to be either a Fiesta or Ka. She suffered minor injuries and required hospital treatment, police said.
Officers have appealed for the driver to come forward and anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage.
