Police assaulted after pharmacy attack
A man has been arrested after an assault at a pharmacy that also led to four police officers being injured.
Staffordshire Police said officers were called to the business on Wharf Road, Biddulph about 10:30 BST on Wednesday.
After searching the area, they received minor injuries after discovering a suspect, but stayed on duty, the force said.
A 30-year-old man from Biddulph has been arrested on suspicion of common assault of an emergency worker and using threatening words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress.
He has since been released under investigation.
