Up to 拢400,000 will be spent upgrading front doors on council tenants' homes in a Staffordshire town.
Alongside a programme of kitchen, bathroom and window improvements, almost 100 front doors on low-rise blocks in Tamworth will be replaced, Tamworth Borough Council said.
It follows a two-year scheme of safety improvements to high-rise homes in the area.
Work will will begin on Monday according to councillor Ben Clarke, portfolio holder for housing, homelessness and planning.
