The winner of a £1m lottery ticket in Wales has just one month left to claim their prize before it is no longer valid.

The EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker ticket was bought in Rhondda Cynon Taf for the draw on 16 April.

The National Lottery is urging players to double check tickets for the winning code of XMXB 32530 by Sunday 13 October.

"We are ready and waiting with the champagne on ice for that life-changing phone call," said the National Lottery's Andy Carter.

"Time is marching on for this missing winner... there is still time though, with one month left for this ticket-holder to get in touch," he said.

"We’ve received valid claims on major National Lottery unclaimed prizes right up to the very last minute before."
