Boy denies Tamworth violent disorder charge

A 16-year-old boy has denied a charge of violent disorder relating to disturbance in Tamworth over the weekend.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was accused as part of the investigation into the disorder at the Holiday Inn Express hotel on Sunday.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge during a hearing at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Wednesday.
The boy, from Tamworth, will next appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on 13 September.
Three further arrests have also been made in connection with the incident.
Two men from Tamworth, aged 28 and 43, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
A 37-year-old man, also from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
All three remained in custody, Staffordshire Police said.
