A seagull was killed by a group of men in Hereford, police said.
West Mercia Police said that two men ran at a flock of seagulls on a road before one of the men caught a bird and killed it.
The incident happened on Commercial Road, Hereford, at about 03:00 BST on 30 June.
The force have released a CCTV image of three men believed to be in the area at the time who may be able to help with inquiries.
Like all wild birds, gulls are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, making it an offence to intentionally injure or kill any gull.
