Driver dies after collision between car and lorry

A 28-year-old man has died after a collision between a car and a lorry.

The incident happened on the A630 West Moor Link in Doncaster at about 05:45 GMT on Saturday.

A man, who was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa, was pronounced dead at the scene, South Yorkshire Police said.

The 27-year-old lorry driver suffered minor injuries.

The road was closed until shortly before 14:00.

Officers have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash, or have dashcam footage, to come forward.
