Arrest after man stabbed in stomach in high street

A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Lincoln on Thursday.
Lincolnshire Police said a man in his 20s was found with a stab wound to his stomach at Merkur Slots, on the city’s High Street, just after 10:45 BST.
Armed officers later arrested a 26-year-old man at a property on Portland Street at 18:35. He remains in police custody on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who saw the incident, or any suspicious activity in the area, to get in touch.
The victim was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
