The Metropolitan Police has issued an image of a man it wants to identify after numerous Hermès Birkin bags were stolen from a Chelsea address.

The force said two men broke into an address on Smith Street, off the King's Road, on the evening of 20 July.

The image of the man was captured on the street at about 20:30 BST, before the burglary.

No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing, the Met said.

The force said that among the items taken from the property were "a number of Hermes Birkin bags".

Anyone who recognises the man was asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers.
