South Belfast Neighbourhood Policing Inspector R贸is铆n Brown said the incident is "distressing and upsetting" for the children involved.

Police have also spoken to the school affected and "appropriate safeguarding protocols have been implemented", Insp Brown said.

She said officers will continue to work closely with the affected school and the Education Authority.
