Pig trapped in mud rescued by fire crews
A hairy pig has been rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a pool of thick mud on a farm.
Crews were called after 16-year-old Kunekune pig, Runty became trapped at Fishers Pond, near Fair Oak as he cooled off on Friday afternoon.
Specialist animal rescue firefighters from Winchester used straps to lift and release the hog out from the bog.
