Police who spotted a wanted man working as a delivery rider arrested him before then delivering his last remaining orders.
The 21-year-old man was wanted for failing to appear at court over an allegation of affray.
Two Suffolk Police officers said they spotted the suspect on foot while on patrol in Cardinal Park, Ipswich, at 18:20 BST on Tuesday.
Having taken him into custody and resisted the temptation to tuck into the burgers, they instead delivered them to his no-doubt surprised customers.
A spokesperson from the Ipswich Police team said on Facebook: "The officers being keen takeaway food enthusiasts, personally delivered the burgers on their way to custody after a crash course in how to operate the delivery app.
"Ipswich police delivering justice and Big Macs."
