Three men armed with knives and a hammer have threatened staff at a convenience store in Worcestershire before stealing cash and cigarettes.
The group entered a Co-op store on St Kenelm's Road, in Romsley, near Bromsgrove, at about 07:20 BST on Friday.
Officers said the men escaped in a white Ford Fiesta, which was last seen driving in the direction of Halesowen.
West Mercia Police has appealed for anyone with information to get in contact.
Det Sgt Ian Tomlinson said the force was keen to hear from witnesses or those with dashcam footage.
"This robbery took place at a time when people may have been visiting the store or driving past on their way to work or on the school run."
Alternatively, information could also be shared anonymously with Crimestoppers, police said.
