Police say they are hunting for two masked men after a firearm was discharged in a targeted attack at a shop in Glasgow.
A 52-year-old man was taken to hospital after armed police were called to Drumoyne Road, Govan, at about 16:00 on Friday.
The man is in a stable condition after treatment. Detectives are treating the attack as attempted murder.
Officers are looking for two men who were seen wearing dark clothing and face-coverings. They left in a Ford Fiesta which was seen driving "erratically" towards Clydebank.
The car was later found burnt-out in a wooded area, which is popular with walkers, near Cochno Road in the Faifley area of Clydebank.
Det Sgt Laura Roberts said: “We believe the car described was being driven erratically during rush-hour traffic on a Friday.
"Think back, did you see a car being driven in this manner? If you have any information which may assist our enquiry, please .
Police will be carrying out door-to-door inquiries and extra patrols will be in place in the area, however there is not a wider risk to the public.
