A man is seriously hurt after he was stabbed near a market in Manchester.

The attack took place at about 22:30 BST on Monday on Dickenson Road, near Longsight Market, in Manchester, police said.

The victim, aged 32, was taken to hospital for treatment for what the force has described as "life-changing" injuries.
