Road shut after lorry toppled in bridge strike

A road in Stoke-on-Trent has been closed after a flatbed truck carrying another lorry hit a railway bridge.

Another truck was also involved in the crash, which happened on Anchor Road, Longton, at about 10:00 BST on Monday, said police.

Nobody was injured, but the road was expected to be closed for some time.

Drivers were being urged to find a different route as emergency services deal with the incident.
