Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died at a property in Cheshire.

The man, aged in his late 30s, was found badly injured following reports of a disturbance in Brook Lane in Rudheath, Northwich, at about 15:35 BST on Saturday, police said.

Paramedics and an air ambulance also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 41-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were arrested at the address on suspicion of murder.

The victim's next of kin have been informed and were being supported, Cheshire Police added.
