Four taken to hospital after barracks house fire
Four people have been taken to hospital following a house fire at army barracks in Kent, the fire service said.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a blaze at a property in Invicta Park, Maidstone, at 03:12 GMT.
Eight fire engines were sent and crews were at the scene for more than five hours.
The fire service said: "Four people were passed into the care of Secamb [South East Coast Ambulance Service] paramedics and taken to hospital due to smoke inhalation."
