Searches for a diver who disappeared off the Jurassic Coast have been stood down.
The diver was reported missing from the Dorset area at about 14:50 BST on Saturday, according to HM Coastguard.
Lifeboats from Weymouth and Swanage searched the area, along with two Coastguard helicopters and a fixed wing aircraft.
The search was suspended shortly before midnight but mayday relay broadcasts continued to be sent to vessels in the area.
HM Coastguard, which coordinated the search, said: "Broadcast action to vessels in the area continued throughout the night and this morning... but the search and assets have now been stood down."
The RNLI confirmed its all-weather lifeboats were involved in Saturday's search and said they were stood down when the light was lost.
Dorset Police has been approached for more information.
