Appeal after inmate absconds from open prison
Police are appealing for information after a man absconded from an open prison in Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Police said Aiden Walls walked out of HMP Sudbury at about 07:40 GMT on Thursday.
The 35-year-old was serving a sentence of five years and six months for conspiracy to commit burglary.
He has been described as white, about 5ft 8in tall, of a slim build, with brown fair hair and a scar on his forehead.
Walls has a goatee beard and is known to have links to Derby and Birmingham.
Police urged the public not to approach him, and call the force instead.
