A drug dealer has been jailed for three years and eight months after admitting selling crack cocaine and heroin in Worcester.

Kai Stretton was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday after police found evidence of his drug line operation on seized phones.

The 18-year-old admitted two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs

West Mercia Police said it was happy to shut down a "busy drugs line" into Worcester and it demonstrated a commitment to bring those involved in County Lines operations to justice.

Det Sgt Kristoffer Stevens said: "Putting these criminals behind bars removes another threat to rid the streets of this most impactful and harmful illegal activity as we continue to actively identify, investigate and prosecute all others attempting to do the same.

"Selling illegal drugs into our communities reaps misery and harm on the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society."
