Teenage boy stabbed in torso near park

A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed in the torso after a row in a street, police have said.
The teenager was attacked in Park Street, Liscard at about 18:30 BST on Saturday, Merseyside Police said.
He was taken to hospital where his condition was described as serious but stable.
Police are searching for the attacker, who is described as a white man in his 30s or 40s, and ran off towards Liscard Park.
Det Insp Dave Sung said: "The consequences could have been far more serious and we are keen to hear from anyone we haven't already spoken to who may have information."
