A motorcyclist has died in a crash with a van in Surrey.

Police were called to the A281, Horsham Road, in Bramley shortly after 09:00 GMT on Monday following reports of the crash.

South East Coast Ambulance Service attended but the man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed between Station Road and Maiden Lane until about 15:45.

The driver of the van stopped at the scene and was assisting police with their enquiries.

Anyone with information about the crash is being asked to contact Surrey Police.
