Long delays after M5 closed in both directions
- Published
Drivers are experiencing delays of more than 90 minutes after the M5 was closed in both directions.
The closure, which has since been lifted, was due to a police-led incident and was in place between junction 24 for Huntworth and junction 23, near Bridgwater in Somerset.
The road was closed for more than three hours, with motorists still being told to expect long delays.
During the incident, Avon and Somerset Police were at the scene, as well as National Highways officers who were assisting with traffic management.
National Highways thanked those travelling for their patience.
