A Liverpool leisure centre which has been closed for four years is set to reopen after a 拢2.2m refurbishment.
Lifestyles Peter Lloyd in Tuebrook shut in 2020 for work including a new roof and repairs to water damage.
The revamped facilities include a new gym area, spin studio, group training room and refurbished sports hall.
The centre will reopen on Wednesday and the swimming pool will reopen in the coming weeks, the council said.
Harry Doyle, Liverpool City Council鈥檚 cabinet member for health, wellbeing and culture, said it had been a "frustrating few years".
鈥淚鈥檓 delighted that we can finally bring this vital asset back into use with some brand-new facilities and areas which are much more accessible," he said.
"I can鈥檛 wait to see residents making the most of this fantastic, new and improved centre once again.鈥
