Boy in critical condition after being hit by car
Police at scene of crash in Barry on Friday afternoon

A young boy is in critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to the the scene of the crash on Dobbins Road, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, at 14:50 BST on Friday.
The boy was taken to the University Hospital of Wales and was in critical condition, South Wales Police said.
The force has appealed for information after launching an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
