Early hours blaze rips through house

A large fire broke out at a house in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The blaze at a three-storey property on Alexandra Drive in Liverpool was spotted at about 04:30 BST.
Six fire engines were sent to the scene, with firefighters continuing to work there two hours later.
A Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson advised nearby residents and businesses to close windows and doors, adding people should "avoid the area".
