Man charged over 拢286,000 cannabis seizure
A man has been charged after police discovered cannabis worth a six-figure sum in his car and home.
The 30-year-old's vehicle was stopped by officers on the M73 near Ballieston on Friday evening.
Police found a quantity of the drug and 拢10,000 in cash during the stop.
A raid on a property on Langlands Place in Cumbernauld in the early hours of Saturday morning uncovered more of the class B drug.
The total value of the seized drugs was estimated to be about 拢286,000.
The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
