Man seriously hurt in stabbing following car crash

A man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed following a car crash.

It happened on Rochdale Road in Middleton at about 20:30 BST on Monday, Great Manchester Police said.

The force said officers responding to reports of a collision found the man with stab wounds and he was given treatment for life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses or anyone with information has been asked to contact police.
