Army bomb squad brought in after grenade found in bin
Roads have reopened in a town after a grenade was discovered in a public car park recycling bin.
Hertfordshire Police said Bedwell Crescent, in Stevenage, was shut between Colestrete and Abbots Grove, at about 07:30 GMT.
The closures were lifted at 09:55, after officers from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team removed the device, police confirmed.
