Man in his 30s dies in workplace incident

A man in his 30s has died in a workplace incident in Buncrana, County Donegal.

He has been named locally as Anthony Devlin from the Slavery area of the town.

Garda铆 (Irish police) said they responded to the incident on Tuesday evening and Mr Devlin died at the scene.

"The local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem will take place in due course," a spokesperson added.

The HSA (Health Safety Authority) has been notified and is conducting its own investigation.

Mr Devlin's funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at St Mary鈥檚 Church, Cockhill.
