Boy, 12, suffers serious injury in crossing crash
A 12-year-old boy sustained serious injuries to his foot after being hit by a car in North Yorkshire, police said.
Officers were called to reports of a collision at a pedestrian crossing at Morrisons supermarket on Broughton Road in Skipton between 08:10 and 08:30 BST.
The incident involved a white Toyota Yaris and the child pedestrian, who was crossing from B&M towards Morrisons.
Police have asked anyone with any information to get in touch.
